December 2026 Streaming Preview: The Holiday Premieres to Plan For
Only Murders in the Building season 6, Emily in Paris season 6, Bad Monkey season 2, a new Pride and Prejudice and P-Valley season 3 all arrive in December. Here's the holiday lineup by date.
December is when a lot of people add a streaming service "just for the holidays" and then forget to cancel it in January. Planning ahead fixes that. Here are the biggest premieres scheduled for December 2026, so you can line up your binges and know which subscriptions you'll actually need.
Early December: Dec 1–10
Bad Monkey
The Florida crime comedy about a demoted detective turned restaurant inspector returns, with new episodes every Wednesday through the end of the month.
Pride and Prejudice
A new limited-series adaptation of the Jane Austen novel, built to stay close to the original book.
P-Valley
The Mississippi Delta drama set inside a strip club called The Pynk is finally back.
Only Murders in the Building
The true-crime podcast comedy returns for season 6 with new episodes on Tuesdays.
The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey
A scripted drama about the unsolved 1996 case and the family at the center of it.
Mid-December: Dec 11–20
Ted: The Animated Series
An animated follow-up to the Ted movies, picking up years later with John and Ted as neighbors.
Unaccustomed Earth
A drama inspired by the bestselling story collection, following a close-knit immigrant community and a long-lost romance.
Frisco King
A New Orleans gangster sets up shop in suburban Frisco, Texas, and finds a hustler's playground under the polished surface.
Also on Dec 17: The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 15 returns on Bravo.
Late December: Christmas to New Year's
Emily in Paris
Emily's sixth season lands on Christmas Eve, right in time for the holiday break.
Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches
The supernatural drama about a neurosurgeon who discovers she's heir to a family of witches returns just before New Year's.
Holiday specials worth knowing: Christmas in Rockefeller Center (Peacock, Dec 2), the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade (ABC, Dec 25) and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve (ABC, Dec 31).
How to plan your December subscriptions
- Netflix has the deepest December: Pride and Prejudice, The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey and Unaccustomed Earth all drop as full seasons, with Emily in Paris on Christmas Eve.
- Hulu is the Only Murders in the Building home, and that one runs weekly from Dec 8.
- Apple TV carries Bad Monkey every Wednesday in December.
- Paramount+ launches Frisco King on Dec 18.
- Peacock has Ted and the holiday specials.
A simple plan: keep the service your weekly shows are on, binge the full-season drops in one month on everything else, then pause anything with nothing new in January. That last step is the one most people forget, and the one BingeSaver reminds you about.
Dates can move
Holiday schedules shift more than most. If a premiere moves, the shows on your BingeSaver watchlist update automatically, and you get the alert on the new date instead of finding out the hard way.
